Competition will be high for for final homes at new neighbourhood in Lenham

A new community has formed at a stunning Jones Homes development on the edge of Lenham – and competition is set to be high as the final homes hit the market.

Previously surplus agricultural land, Westwood Park has transformed this edge-of-village site into an attractive new neighbourhood.

Jones Homes has waited until the final homes are nearly built to begin releasing them for sale, so that potential new owners can walk around the homes before signing up.

There are six homes on the market at present, all four-bedroom detached houses. Soon the show homes and final two detached houses will be released for sale.

Sara Stanhope, Sales and Marketing Director at Jones Homes Southern, said:

“Westwood Park has achieved the ideal balance of modern and traditional features. You really need to visit and take a walk around to appreciate how it all blends together, complementing the existing architecture in the village.

“Each home is set within a generous plot. There is a variety of house styles and different finishes, with a modern weatherboarding giving a nod to the tradition of timber-fronted homes in Kent. Every detail has been considered. The landscaping throughout the development really enhances the appearance of every street scene.

“While our homes appear traditional, inside you will find flexible and open-plan layouts. By buying new from Jones Homes, you can enjoy brand new kitchens and bathrooms, high-quality fixtures and fixings throughout, and you can rest assured that your home is energy-efficient.

“The show homes are still open at present so anyone who is thinking of laying down roots in Lenham can take a look around and envisage what it would be like to live at Westwood Park.”

Jones Homes is building 70 homes at the development off Ham Lane, and 50 of the homes are already occupied. Construction work is due to come to an end at Westwood Park later this year.

Sara added:

“Our new residents at Westwood Park have come from the local area, from across Kent and some from much further afield. It’s not difficult to see why these homes have such broad appeal. I’m sure the final residents will enjoy living here as much as our current residents do.”

Four-bedroom detached homes at Westwood Park currently start at £625,000. Five homes are now available to purchase and a waiting list is being created for people interested in buying one of the two show homes.
