A handful of people will be able to buy a stunning new home in Tarporley for just 70 per cent of the market value.
Jones Homes has five homes remaining at Chestnut Grange, which sits just off the High Street.
They are available as part of a discounted homes scheme, designed to help people who live in the area to buy a new home which suits their needs.
The discount was agreed with Cheshire West and Cheshire Borough councils as part of the planning agreement for Chestnut Grange.
The two-bedroom mews-style homes were initially released only to those who met a strict criteria to ensure those most in need of a helping hand were prioritised.
The criteria has been relaxed on the final few homes to allow a broader range of purchasers to benefit from the scheme.
Gemma Pownall, Sales and Marketing Director for Jones Homes North West, said: “Tarporley is one of Cheshire’s most sought after villages. The opportunity to own a brand new home at a discounted price, at 70 per cent of the open market value, is extremely rare. Now that the homes are available to most people, we expect them to be reserved quickly.”
The five remaining two-bedroom mews-style homes come with their own parking and are available from £213,500, which is 70 per cent of the open market value of £305,000.
Gemma Pownall said: “The first few units have already been secured and we have a lot of interest in the final five homes.
“The application process for the discounted homes scheme is straightforward and our sales team can guide people through it. I would urge anyone who is interested in purchasing one of these homes to call us so we can talk you through the criteria.”
