NOTTINGHAM’S biggest event of the year Nottingham Hot Property (NHP) has appointed three new trustees to its committee as it celebrates its fifteenth year.
Ash Cowdrey director at Couch Perry Wilkes (CPW), Emma Atkins business development and marketing manager at Pulse Consult and Neil Walker head of operations East Midlands at Faithful + Gould, have all been appointed to the charity’s board of trustees.
Hot Property – an annual fundraising event held in November – is attended by leading professionals across Nottingham and aims to showcase the best talent in the city, while raising thousands of pounds to support vulnerable children.
Ash said: “It’s a huge honour to be asked to join the committee for an event I’ve always been a big advocate of. I particularly enjoy the feel of informal networking that Hot Property promotes. CPW has been sponsoring the event for the last four years and we treat it like a Nottingham office party night. I’m hoping my input to the committee can give a long-term supporter view and ensure that its sponsorship packages continue to offer exceptional value.”
Emma added: “It’s always meant a lot being part of the NHP family, so I was thrilled and honoured to be asked to join the board of trustees. It’s great to be involved at this level where we can make a real difference to various local children’s charities.
“Hot Property is a firm fixture in the Nottingham networking calendar and the event has been growing year on year in both size and popularity. Unfortunately, a committee position doesn’t mean I get out of singing though!”
Neil has been part of Hot Property since 2004 and performed at every event, aside from a short period when working abroad. He said: “I’m immensely proud of what we have all achieved with NHP – bringing together some amazing and talented people, entertaining a huge number of the East Midlands property community and most importantly improving people’s lives through the money raised.
“I was delighted to be asked to take up a position as a trustee, and with my knowledge of previous events and of the East Midlands property sector, I have no doubts I can bring some value and help drive future events.”
Max Kwan, from Inspired Villages and long-time Hot Property trustee, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Ash, Emma and Neil to the NHP board of trustees. They are all well-known, respected members of the property industry so we are thrilled to have them on board and look forward to seeing their expertise and experience further boost the event.”
Since it was established 15 years ago, NHP has raised in excess of £270,000 for children’s charities in Nottingham, making a positive change to many vulnerable children’s lives. In total Hot Property has seen over 100 people take to the stage, and this number is growing each year with each event.
