Morrison Energy Services, a part of M Group Services, has been awarded a long term contract by Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) to support its High Voltage and Extra High Voltage (HV/EHV) connections activity across its operational region in central southern England.
The framework has been awarded on a non-exclusive basis and covers major projects at voltages between 33kV and 132kV, together with others facilitating 11kV/LV works required to connect larger SSEN customers to its network.
The initial contract duration is three years with the option to extend for an additional four years in single year increments.
The work scope will include, but not be limited to, civil and electrical design, delivery and commissioning of substations, cable installations and overhead lines in SSEN’s south area, covering central southern England.
Martin Atkins, Contract Director at Morrison Energy Services, comments: “We are delighted to have been appointed to this framework and we look forward to working collaboratively with SSEN Connections over the next three years to connect their larger customers to the network and support the development of electricity networks in a Net Zero future.”
