Runaway success at popular Newquay development

A combination of a superb location, stylish homes and an innovative approach to sustainability is being credited for the runaway success of the first phase of Wainhomes’ Trewollack development in Newquay.

Wainhomes’ Head of Sales, Katie Alderton said: “We have had a fantastic level of interest at Trewollack and it has come as no surprise that our first phase has completely sold out.”

“Our close proximity to the bustling surfers’ paradise of Newquay has been a huge plus point for buyers looking to settle in the region, while our unique sustainability strategy has won the hearts of the community.”

Trewollack, a development of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes will be governed by a comprehensive sustainability strategy. The scheme will focus on transport, energy use and generation as well as minimising construction waste, using local Cornish materials wherever possible.

In time, the development will form part of Nansledan – a 218 hectare site to the east of Newquay that will create a new urban extension to the town – on land owned by the Duchy of Cornwall.

Nansledan, which is Cornish for broad valley, is being delivered in partnership by the Duchy of Cornwall and a consortium of South West-based house building companies.

“We understand that a number of buyers who missed out on our last phase will be disappointed to see the sales office now closed,” Katie added. “However, all is not lost as we will be back soon with our equally impressive fourth phase.”

Homes at Trewollack have been constructed in a time-honoured style, built with the area’s existing architectural heritage in mind. Using the latest techniques to create a 21st century benchmark of energy efficiency, comfort and security, the development will offer buyers the perfect opportunity to enjoy flexible family living close to the thriving seaside town of Newquay.

Famed for its miles of golden coastline, Newquay boasts excellent recreational facilities for families and thrill-seekers alike, as well as a range of shops, restaurants and bars. For more information about Wainhomes visit: https://www.wainhomes.net
