FIRST HOMES RESERVED AT WATERSIDE DEVELOPMENT IN MOIRA
NEARLY a quarter of properties at Swing Bridge Wharf, an exclusive residential development in Moira by developer Wheatcroft Land, have been reserved ahead of completion due to their attractive location and countryside offering.
Located in the heart of the National Forest in Leicestershire, the development has already received strong interest and reservations for two out of its nine properties. Under its new residential brand Wheatcroft Homes, the East Midlands property developer started on site earlier this year, after acquiring the site in July 2018.
The former warehouse site is being transformed into a mixture of three and four bedroom family homes, including both semi-detached and detached properties, which all boast scenic views overlooking the Ashby Canal.
Director at Wheatcroft Land Catherine Haward said: “We are delighted to have received so much interest in Swing Bridge Wharf, especially at this early stage in the building works.
“The location of the development is a huge selling point with nine quality homes all situated on a private drive. All properties have views over the Ashby Canal, with large windows and balconies, and are not directly overlooked by any other properties to the front or rear, which is also a huge added benefit.”
The countryside development offers a host of activities and local attractions with direct access to the public footpath running along the canal, the Moira Furnace Museum, Country Park and Craft Village all within close walking distance, making it perfectly suited to families.
Catherine added: “One of things that differentiates Wheatcroft Homes, is that we focus on developing individual homes, tailored to suit that specific location and setting. We have found this to be an attractive selling point to people who are interested in purchasing a new build home, but don’t necessarily want the exact same build as someone else in another development elsewhere.”
Swing Bridge Wharf is being built by Oakwood Construction and marketed by local property agent Newton Fallowell. The development is due to be completed in time for residents to move into their new homes for Christmas 2019.
This is the second residential scheme the developer is currently working on in the East Midlands, with another 14-unit scheme underway in Ancaster, Lincolnshire, expected to be completed September 2019 Visit https://www.wheatcroftland.co.uk for further information.
